Question about active duty retirement – I switched from Regular Army to USAR AGR several years ago. My DD214 date was sometime in Feb and the start date of my AGR order was in April, so technically I spent time in the IRR and had a break in service. Does this mean that specific year in which I incurred the break will not count towards an active duty retirement? Since I wasn't on active duty that whole year?
