Hit & run on rental car during my vacation, am I screwed?

So I decided to take myself on a nice trip and rent a car for the first time ever! I figured that I would decline the insurance option at the rental car company because I have my own insurance through geico….bad idea. Someone decided to hit my rental car last night while I was at the club and ofc theres no cameras or anything since I had to park across the street at a now-closed restaurant since the club’s parking lot was full. I got the police report and the rental car company/geico is assuring me that everything is OK & to enjoy the rest of my vacation but I really can’t believe this is happening to me. I’m scared that I’m going to end up paying so much money for this 😥 My vacation now is ruined & I honestly just want to leave early and go home. I probably wont get my $200 deposit back either smh. I have full coverage on my insurance along with uninsured coverage so will that help?? I would attach a pic but this subreddit doesnt allow pictures. Thank you to anyone that answers
