I called several insurance companies looking for a homeowners policy in NV, but was told that the fire risk in our area was too high.

Finally got a policy with Farmers.

But we have auto and umbrella with State Farm, so I was considering switching to State Farm to bundle everything. Didn't originally go with them because they said they'd likely ask for a new roof w/in 30 days. But now we have a new roof.

Concern is that State Farm recently said they won't write new policies in neighboring CA. Is switching to them risky?

Which company is lower risk for getting cancelled or not renewed due to environmental risks in Washoe County NV?
