Found myself an old beater, 1999 Honda CRV. $4000 cash, has a lot done to it and is in good shape for the age. I live in the barracks and want to register the car in my home state. How do I go about doing that, plan on buying the car ASAP just need to know what paperwork I need and how the process goes.

The process is surprisingly different from state to state. If you’re willing to share the state you’re registering it in, someone might be able to help you.
