Can I use my ex-step dads Gi Bill Benefits

Hi so I’m going into my sophomore year of college and I used the Gi Bill for my first year. But during that time my step dad, the service member, and my mom got a divorce. It all 36 months of the Gi Bill were transferred to me can I still continue to use them even if i’m technically no longer a dependent?
