Why did i get denied for my auto repair. Bc my car wasnt registered in their timeline of when they felt it should have been. I dropped my car off on July 19th 2024 to an Aamco and on August 19th 2024 is when Carshield denied my claim. My car was registered at the time of denial and my contract is a month to month contract. It starts on the 4th of every month. It states that i have 2 months time to register my car but they went off of the date i initially started my monthly contracting with them which was back in May 2024. I had bought the car from Carmax who was suppose to title and register my car but couldnt get my property tax waiver. I told them that i didnt own any vehicles in 2022 in any state bc i was without a home or homeless. I got a letter from them in the mail saying sorry we couldnt do that and heres that part of your money back. In Missouri to get car registered you have to receive a waiver from county assessor and you sit there all day waiting to talk to them and i work 7 days a week. I had tags from the dealership on my car and title was done in my name by carmax so i owned the car. I had car insurance on it the whole time thru progressive so if i were to get pulled over i owned the car have drivers license have insurance and my tag from dealership. As of this month i have the car registered which is when they denied me bc i didnt have it registered sooner then what i did. This is for a repair on my transmission. What does my registration have to do with something that mechanically went wrong with my car? My car is legal everything is legal at the time of denial! Does this seem right?

I just got denied by carshield after my car sat at Aamco for about a month!!!

Sorry if I missed it, but what does your policy state in regard to when they car needs to registered? Also, carshield is a very shitty company.
