I am an international student in the US and I wish to trade options but I can't seem to tell whether it is legal for international students or not. There is conflicting information on this. Is this legal? Are any international students in the US doing options?

As far as US law, the answer is yes, for the most part it SHOULD be legal,. Your country may not allow it, though. It all depends on trade and tax laws.
But the problem may be which trading platform you use to do your trades. Many US based trade platforms and brokerages have rules about foreign individuals using them. Some will even lock their trade app if it appears to be outside the U.S. over a certain number of days in a year.
