My thesis: Bitcoin will have a historical Q4 as it usually does during the halving year. Rate cuts, election season, and QE will add more to global liquidity. Mining stocks will follow as a result.
My Hut Play: 35dollar strike price Jan 2025 expiration, 2000 contracts, currently worth 45c a contract
My Hive Play: 10 dollar strike price Jan 2025 expiration, 5000 contracts currently worth 15c a contract
My strategy revolves around Bitcoin crossing 100k by end of this year and betting on miners running parabolically. I’m essentially in and will not be selling until end of the year. Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions. Would be glad to receive some feedback!

Why so far out the money? It’s not like you don’t have the capital to buy closer strikes?

    2. Agree on $100K BTC but the timing is always tricky.
Will cost me more premium but I am playing it safe with JUL 2025 calls.

    3. I degen’d 2k into some weekly sbux 90 puts last week and the other half will prob expire worthless as well. So I guess I’m going long to make it back.

I’m thinking btc will run as massive institutions quietly buy up many of the remaining coins followed by announcements of nearly all coins being mined – coupled with increased inflation as the fed is forced to cut rates after the bad employment report tomorrow.

Also banking on fall of corporations relying on consumer spending, ie; Starbucks. In the long term now. Subway announced emergency meetings due to low sales, people can’t justify the prices of fast food nowadays with gas and groceries being expensive.

Housing won’t get better anytime soon with rate cuts letting massive corporate loans and 30 year mortgages run rampant. More money will flow into the market with rate cuts as savings accounts and bonds become less profitable with lower interest.

My intuition is good I just suck at actually making plays lol

    4. How about halving that just happened? Miners getting half of bitcoin reward they used to

    5. there doesn’t seem to be much volume and a huge spread in bid and ask. How did you decide to bid 45c?
