No injuries, I’m at fault and I’m not fighting it. There was no police report even though there was a cop on scene during information exchanges, cop said to do everything through insurance. Both cars still drivable, and we both have the same insurance. I’m just curious how this all works and what to expect. I have collision insurance with the maximum deductible. No airbags were deployed. Both cars arn’t totaled obviously.
What should I expect in the future? I did my claim and did everything that I was asked for of my company. How long does this shit usually take? I wanna get my car fixed up asap

An appraiser will come out and assess the damage. Predicting how long it will take is impossible. It all depends on wherther or not you agree with the appraisal, whether you want to use their shop or your own, how long parts take to order and deliver, and the lead time for the shop’s work.
