is this something my insurance (State Farm) company should cover?

It could've been a piece of some furniture or a wooden box, all I know is, I didn't see it and it was very hard because my car nearly jumped. Airbags did not deploy.

When I pulled over to check, there was a piece of wood pretty much installed as part my car's suspension, spent a couple minutes pulling it out.

    -Front bumper is damaged.

    -AC does not work

    -Steering wheel is not straight

-By looking at it some metal part underneath that seems to hold the radiator and some other stuff, is bent.

At that moment, I was about 10 minutes from home in five minutes from work (so I just brought the car over to my work parking lot and it's been there since, I was just going to call the insurance this morning but I'm not even sure if this is something they will cover, nobody hit me and i did not hit anybody)

*****In Florida, Full cover insurance because of loan on car.

I hit a "wooden something" at night on the highway

If you hit a stationary wood object on the road, it will be an at-fault accident claim for you. You’ve indicated you have collision/comprehensive coverage (full coverage is technically not a thing). So you can file with your carrier, pay your deductible, and get your car fixed.

    2. This is an at fault collision claim. As long as you have collision coverage, repairs will be covered minus your deductible.

Likely a covered claim, potentially under your collision coverage. If so, you will get a surcharge and lose your accident-free discount for 3 years until it falls off. Your agent should be able to give you a general idea of what that will do your premium.

    4. If you have collision on your policy or will be covered as an at fault collision claim subject to your deductible.

    5. It may not count as at fault. My wife had a similar incident years ago and they covered it under the comp portion of the policy.

    6. Yes it will be covered as long as you carry collision coverage. It will be considered at fault though as the object was stationary
