Orders to break dependent’s lease?

My s/o an I are getting married next month but still living separately, with the original intent of merging households next year when our individual leases term. However, we just found out he is getting orders to move to another state much earlier than we anticipated and now we both have individual leases to contend with, needing to make a choice by Nov this year.
My question is – once we are married, Am I able to break my own lease using his orders as his dependent, even though he is not on my current lease? My thought was to provide our marriage license and orders along with plenty of notice.
