BAH Backpay Question

I’m sure this has been asked numerous times, but I know I’m entitled to back pay, married in April just recently submitted everything to IPAC. Do I have to provide a vacancy letter before I receive that backpay, or should I be given that backpay in a coming check with no vacancy letter yet?
