I got in a car accident several months ago. Not my fault. The other driver was driving her dad’s truck, which appeared to have insurance.
we pay deductible of $1000 at body shop after not having my car for 3+ weeks.
Just got an email that she did not, in fact, have insurance. They said we could take legal action but she obviously does not have the money. So would suing be completely pointless?
I’m just super bummed. I have 2 kids. Already living paycheck to paycheck and now this happens. I was really banking on getting the $1k back.
