Long story short, I was transitioning from reserve to guard and my university did not update my grades in the AI portal to reflect in AFVEC back in 2020.
Fast forward to current day; I sent my transcript to my education office to update my “education” in VMPF ( because why not, right ? ) and now I got a debt notice to repay the $3K in the classes…
Currently in the process of having the school update my grades.
Per DAFI36-2670, I had 30 days to update my grades.
Funny is that if I never seeked this update, I probably would have never incurred the debt because it seemed like they forget.
Is there anyway to seek an exemption to the debt or am I screwed ?
