    1. You contact the manufacturer and either get a copay card or apply for free meds. You cannot make an insurance cover something with the exception of experimental drugs or off label.

      First, they may. You need to have your doctor fill out your insurance’s Prior Authorization form. The insurance may or may not cover it, but it at least gets the ball rolling. Your doctor is your best advocate for this one. Otherwise you need to fall back to your medical insurance and see if they will cover it slim chance they might… other than that, consumer discount cards through Good RX or manufacturers coupons.
