Health Insurance on starting a new job

Hi,

Me and wife had both lost our health insurance due to losing our jobs in June. We had enrolled in VA Marketplace insurance for July.

My wife since started a new job at the beginning of August. I too since have found a job, with an employer with a better insurance plan. I start in 2 weeks.

Currently, we are covered with her insurance plan. When I start my new job,

• Will my wife be able to un-enroll from her employer provided insurance and switch to mine? Does that qualify as a QLE?
• She is still within the 30/31 day window to accept/decline the insurance from her employer going forward. To cover the 2 weeks, can we accept and then both of us can switch once I start my new job?
