Bought in below $15, thought it wouldn’t go down much more.. but then LLY came with a strong competition to Hims ozempic offer and the stock kept going down. I do think they have a huge subscriber base and seem promising, so I can only guess it’s some market overreacting cause.. but then again, the stock did go up a lot since beginning this year so could also be a price correction in combination with growing competition..

People can’t control themselves to not gorge themselves to diabetes and death. Food just tastes too good and makes peoples’ brains feel good. Judge and shame em all you want, they literally can’t stop themselves. It’s a good thing these drugs exist because it lets these people live a normal life, even if they have to do weekly injections forever. These drugs will remain profitable in the long run. Stay on top of which companies are offering the latest and greatest in this drug class and you’ll make money.

I take Sildenafil since MS has basically nuked the nerve endings down there. My prescription for ten 50MG pills is $6. Hims charges $4 a pill, or $40 for the same prescription I have. I get that Hims provides a discrete way to get these drugs, but if a day comes where men decide to just be honest with their doctor, Hims could be cooked. They offer a good product but they have a lot of competition and their only real advantage in my eyes is that people don’t like talking about this subject with their doctor.

Also liraglutide, a glp1 comes off patient in November so HIMS will be able to sell glp 1s freely.

I had some shares at a good cost basis. Rode it all the way up to 24 and didn’t sell. Made a little bit on CCs but got out barely above break even. The company has some good growth prospects but is a bit overvalued and can be a bit volatile on any news. Plus I get the feeling LLY wants them dead in the water.
