I Left a Note on Another Person’s Vehicle after Scratching Their Paint. What Now?

Like I said in the title, I hit a car in my apartment's parking lot and left two notes. The first one was from last night, but it fell off the windshield (or was removed and thrown on the ground, not sure) and another that I left this morning. I certainly don't want to be accused of a hit and run. What happens if they don't see the note? I reported the damage to insurance already, and I acknowledged that I hit a car. What else can I do to make sure I don't get hit with a hit and run later?
