Did the course this week and got a $35 savings for a 6 month policy. My rates already low

Was talking with an agent during a quote and he said that having all the drivers on a policy will result in more savings. I always thought only one driver was needed.

Should I get it for every driver?

Will multiple defensive drivers courses save me more money?

    1. If your rates are already low, adding more defensive driving courses for each driver might not make a big difference. However, having all drivers on the policy could give you more savings, depending on the insurer.

All household members are suppose to be listed. Especially licensed ones since they have access to the vehicle.

    3. You should be able to ask them to quote adding the discount to see if it’s worth it. Also, be sure to ask about eligibility – most carriers I’ve worked with will only offer the discount for drivers over 55 who have completed it.

I took a defensive driving course last year and saw a decent discount too. It’s great that you’re already seeing savings! Having multiple drivers take the course can help lower the overall premium, especially if they’re younger or have less experience.
