My vacation home has suddenly gotten auto insurance bills for a couple I don’t know. This first happened roughly six months ago and I contacted Geico, and they said they would look into it. Well roughly six months later, I just got a mail with their renewal. I didn’t open any of these mails and I’m thinking Geico did nothing with the report I did last time.
Any suggestions on what I should do here? What is the risk here of someone else using my address for auto insurance? Why would someone do this?
Getting someone else auto insurance bill to my address, what should I do?

When you say vacation home, is this something that you let out to other people? I’d be worried about identity theft, and/or someone attempting to establish residency in your home.
Contact the post office.
They should’ve reported to their underwriting department after they tried to contact the customer but they hire anyone with a pulse now
Mark it RETURN TO SENDER – ADDRESSEE UNKNOWN and put it back in the mail.
Insurance companies deal with returned mail all the time, whether it’s a simple typo or address fraud for lower rates.
Is this vacation home in a low-cost small town? People will sometimes buy online, do all their transactions online, using someone else’s address in an area with lower rates. They have what appears to be a valid insurance policy as long as they never have a claim large enough to investigate.
Do you receive any other mail in their name?
I had that issue for a time, the local letter carrier put a note inside my mailbox listing names not at this address, so they mostly get returned before I ever see them.
