Strategies for Put Credit Spreads?

I have had a decent run of luck selling weekly Puts over the last couple of years. I have been able to dance my way out of a few ugly assignments by wheeling and selling. This takes time, patience and a cash cushion.

But I don't trust this market or the economy AT ALL so I have been done a few Put Credit Spreads. Much less risk but much lower premiums.

How does everyone else play these? Do you do several longer term contracts, at what spread and delta? Thanks.
