Good afternoon everyone,
I am in the process of selling my house, but I don't want to use a realtor because they want at least 6% of the sell price. I already found a buyer who is also interested in not using a realtor. Can I go through jag (we are both in the military) to initiate the process, or do I have to go through a civilian lawyer for this process?

No. The JAG isn’t there to sell your house.
Jag won’t help you.
Talk to a local real estate attorney. They should facilitate the transaction and file paperwork for a set fee.
You could probably find a realtor to do it for you for $500. Cheaper than an attorney
I did this as the buyer. We were both military and slee found an agent who would do all the paperwork for either 1 or 1.5% total (can’t remember which)
Local real estate attorney. They do this all day long. Most can give you an estimate and over the phone and tell you what documentation they need to get the process going.
Local real estate attorney. They’ll charge a flat fee.
Local real estate attorney it’s crazy how easy it is to sell a house when parties agree from the beginning. It was like 3 pieces of paperwork.
