Had a flood and my insurance company got their own restoration company to take our damaged carpets and electronics to repair/clean or add to claim. Their restoration company didn't respond for a month about repairs so we talked to adjuster to find another contractor. Now It's been 3 months and our place has been restored but we still are waiting for all the items that were taken to be cleaned and repaired.
This seems long. I email our adjuster every other day but they keep saying they have messaged their restoration company and that they will contact me. Still haven't received any call or message.
Is this normal?

You can contact the restoration company directly.
I avoid using any vendors that the insurance carriers send out. You have the right to use the vendors of your choosing to restore your home to its original preloss condition.
