Hey folks,
Recently this Monday 9/9 my apartment had a pretty serious fire which has ruined all my and my partners items such as clothes, furniture and the all hygienic items.
I had a Womanizer Premium 2 and Magic Wand Rechargeable as well as other traceable purchased items such as harnesses, insertable body safe objects and the like which when calculating cost: is not cheap.
For insurance purposes, Can I count these in my recovery list? Is there a category they fall under?
Thanks for any info

Personal property, gonna need the receipts or screenshots of the items and prices to be submitted to your insurance.
They fall under the kink clause of the policy. 🙄
Hopefully you paid with credit/debit card. If you can show the bank statement charge and claim it as a loss, it will likely be covered
Might be worth calling the sex shop to see if they can lookup your past receipt from the card you paid with
Documentation will be important.
A very popular prior post explained if you just put down “toaster” then it’s going to calculate for a basic $15 toaster, but if that toaster was really $150 you need to outline it.
If you just write down vibrator you are likely to be paid for a $15 vibrator, but if you tell me it was actually $250 then I would need more information and possibly a copy of a prior receipt or similar.
In other situations I will ask for photos if other information isn’t available to substantiate the claim but I wouldn’t ask for those photos for concern of ending up with a meeting with HR.
As for the category you can likely put it under intimates.
Personal Property. Be specific and truly, the claim rep might get a giggle out of it, but it’s not even a top ten weird items list.
Heck, I once reviewed a rider for someones glass dildo collection, complete with photos, and it wasn’t even the oddest thing I approved that week. (That would have been the mermaid tail)
