Does anyone recommend a cheap insurance company to cover the exterior of a triplex? I bought a unit in my triplex in Montana a few years ago. The other owners rent their units out, but I live and work in Montana, so I was named head of the three-person HOA by default. Our entire HOA fees now go towards our condo insurance with Travelers now. We are paying 3x more than we were just a few years ago, and this is not sustainable anymore.

Tell your independent agent to shop for a better price.
If you don’t have an independent agent, or yours won’t or can’t, get one who reps other insurance companies.
