We always hear about people’s successes but I’m curious about your failed businesses. What was the business? What went wrong? What would you do differently now?
Retail computer & electronics shop that was profitable, but barely, and was making less than I had been making working my previous job. What went wrong was a saturated market for the town since big box stores were starting to sell the same things at a lower price than I could, and higher-price custom computer systems like I was uniquely offering just weren’t in enough demand. What I’d do differently now is not open a shop like that in the first place.
