I need advice if I’m in the wrong or what and I need to vent. Family and I had Liberty Mutual for auto insurance for 3 years. They were gonna raise our premium by $2000+ for 6 months if we renew so we decided to switch to Farmers. We’ve been with other insurance companies before like Progressive, Pemco, Dairyland, and never ever once we had a problem with leftover bill because we always paid in full. Now, we receive a bill of $252 from Liberty Mutual because apparently we “used” their insurance from 8/10-8/25. I was under the impression that if I turn off the auto pay and not renew with them like how we usually do with the other companies stated above, that it is understood that we’re not moving forward with the renewal. We never had this issue before. I just spoke with a Liberty Mutual agent and basically she said that we have to pay this amount but I honestly don’t want to because like I said, we did not use their services. I need some advice of what I can do with this? Am I wrong for assuming? I need people’s insights. Thank you all🫶🏽

I need to vent and advice 😩
