Newsflash, upgrades have been marginal (at best) for the past 9 years.

I didn’t see any feature that appealed to me and even if you turn in an old top of the line 15 you’re still looking at ~800 to upgrade for ai features that aren’t available on release. If anything I’d much rather wait for the second iteration of “ai” on the iPhone. Think economy sad even if the bears aren’t getting any benefit.

Phones are cars now. Minimal yearly upgrades. No real point in upgrading, especially for Apple decides when you can use them for 5+ years reliably.

My 13pro runs great, and Apple has only slowed it down X amount, where they normally slow it down Y amount forcing us to get into new phones.

It’s basically a iphone 15 pro so there is not really any point in buying it unless you need a new phone

Maybe people realized there’s no real added value. Unless they implement something that makes it worthwhile why upgrade?

Not interested in the iPhone 16 Pro XL Plus [Product Red] because my iPhone 7 has still has a home button

What? Less people want to buy a more expensive version of an identical phone from last year!?!?!

Cool! Then I can get a 16 pro easily. I haven’t preordered lol

AT&T is pretty much giving these things away. They are giving $1000 trade in credit for a potato.

I’ve upgraded every 2 years for like a decade. This is the first time I’m waiting another year. No AI stuff for half a year and it doesn’t look compelling anyway.
Existing phone is still good, decent battery

After this one bombs, Apple is going to take away ALL of the buttons on your phone AND the charging port

F the new Apple 7 days to Sunday. No innovation. High prices. Marketing crap. Customer lock-in & control… Not buying another iPhone unless they open other app stores without any fuss.

Doesn’t exactly help that more and more companies are playing games for trade-in. “Trade in for $1,000 with our newest, best plan.” *two years later* “That plan is shit, you need our now-newest plan.”
