Week or so ago I got rear-ended by another driver, their insurance is covering a rental and waiting for the body shop to complete repairs (ETA 1-2 weeks).
When the repairs are done, is there any amount of grace period between when the shop says "done" and when they stop paying for the rental?
Concerned that if the shop says "we're done" suddenly one afternoon but is too late to actually get off work and drive from work to the body-shop (~2 hours from my workplace) the same day before closing time, would they pay for the rental thru at least the next business day when the shop is open to go verify it looks properly fixed and collect my car? How would that work?
