Starting up a local dog treat business and have just been approved for my license + registered for manufacturing and selling in my state. Wondering the best forms of advertising and how to start getting our treats out there?

    1. I’d say first, have an e-commerce website through Shopify or Ecwid to be a landing page for your customers. Next, utilize any farmers markets in your area since that will get a stream of people used to your product and hopefully get feedback. Use some of the premade NFC cards for things like Google reviews and collect those to put on the website. Make sure you can support recurring payments through your chosen solution, that way you can offer subscriptions.

Next, start talking to kennels and groomers to see if they possibly have shelf space for your product. Give them a nice sample pack to sweeten the deal since it doesn’t cost that much. Then move on to vet offices and do the same thing. Each package should have a QR code pointing back to that product on your website.

Obviously have your social platforms to post info and updates to your customer base too.

Congrats! Try locall pet events, social media ads, & teaming up w/ pet stores or vets. Building an online presence & sharing reviews can help. Good luck w/ ur dog treats!
