NJ home Insurance non-renewal

My home insurer won't renew because of a claim that I submitted early this year because a neighbour's tree that fell on my fence. My second claim ever was about 3-5 years ago because of a hurricane. Both were small calims (less than 5k)
Shouldn't insurers warn home owners about small claims that can cause non-renewal? I'm told about an Insurance Score (like credit score) but they refuse to divuldge where i stand in their scoring. How is that legal?
