During my sobriety, I started roasting coffee and a hobby, not much, in a pan over the oven. Over time I graduated to larger and larger roasters, eventually landing me into a 2lb batch roaster. I was selling in farmers markets and part online with my business partner. Long story short I had to go into an IOP program to deal with some mental things I had going on at the time.

Flash forward to today, I've got more mental stability and more of a network to start pushing the coffee, but I'm stuck up on trying to do primarily online or to white label my product to sell to local cafes.

To anybody with online coffee experience or business experience with bipolar, is there any advice you have with where to start? I had ideas of passing out fliers with a pour over amount of coffee attached to have the people try it before ordering, as well as trying to start making some videos for social media. What else can I do to try and make the transition from in person sales to online more seamless?

Getting back into my coffee roasting business after a 6 month break due to mental health. Need some advice

    1. See if you can run direct response ads in sobriety mags, local sobriety groups, online groups, etc. Tell your story about your mental health issues and addictions, and how you decided to make your coffee business (somehow related to your addiction). That would sell very well, and advertising would be dirt cheap.
