Does anyone do this, Im new and tried it today. Basically if it moves against you you buy back your short side somewhere close to max profit, and basically hope it bounces back toward your now single option, which is already close to max loss anyways. Is this a legit strat? I still lost money cus it didn't bounce back today. But it was around my max loss anyways

    1. I don’t do any form of spreads whatsoever. You get the direction right and that’s all you need to do .. especially these days with such swings in the market.

First rule, never go to max loss! Ever! Max loss needs to be forbidden from your vocabulary!

    3. “hope ” is a questionable part of a trading strategy.

Was there / Was that the exit plan when you opened the position?
