I always hear you should find a market with a high demand and a shortage of supply but what tool(s) do you use to actually gauge the demand and supply of a specific niche?
How do you actually research "supply and demand"?

The easiest way I used/found is just go to work at your job each day and study the industry you are in. Every industry has weak points, inefficiency, or poorly thought out and overlooked thin spots.
