Auto insurance increase after adding my debit card for automatic payments

I have an auto insurance policy with National General Insurance here in Washington State. I downloaded their app and wanted to make automatic payments with my debit card. Right after putting all my card details, my rates increased by like $20. I was shocked and I decided to remove it. Right after, it increased again. So my premium increased by about $130 from the original just because I added then removed an automatic payment method. Is this supposed to happen? Please enlighten me.
