Hey guys, I recently started my own web agency, and it's been about a month now. I've tried various methods to attract clients, from cold emailing to joining freelancing platforms like Fiverr, but unfortunately, I haven't had any success yet. My team offers end-to-end solutions, from design to development, covering everything from custom code to platforms like WordPress and Shopify. We're focused on helping small businesses grow by enhancing their online presence

How we are trying to stand out
    1. A one-time fee with a standard service model.
    2. A monthly subscription model that focuses on long-term results, aiming to build trust by offering ongoing support and improvements, such as better SEO rankings over time.

Would really appreciate if you guys could give advice. Thanks.

    1. You can try web listening tools like [mentionmind.com](http://mentionmind.com) or awario. There are many discussions and problem-solving topics around WordPress and Shopify, so you can join these conversations, offer help, and share your solution.
Response speed is key, and these tools can provide you with almost real-time alerts

    2. I’d reach out to small local businesses. Look them up, see if their website is shit.. or existent. Build a list. Work on your sales pitch. Use the fact that you’re local and can meet in person. A lot of non-technical and older business owners appreciate that. Speaking of non-technical folk: that’s a good focus for a client base imo. Trades… services… dentistries… fixture/furniture galleries… business where one might think the staff would not be very technically inclined (or are too busy running their business to build an online presence.) Also, if you have no portfolio to show off at this time- you might consider doing something like a basic landing style page designs for a client initially free (especially one who has no online presence) and then take payment and build further if they are happy with it.

    3. In person networking

If you are cold calling / emailing businesses, so are 50 other people.

I have agency and the majority of our clients come from in person networking / referrals.

For WordPress sites, consider using a CRM like First 8 Marketing. It helps analyze user behavior so you can fine-tune your site based on real data. Might be a good selling point when you’re pitching to potential clients.

I own a business and sell on ebay. I need a website. But from what you write I hear desperation that sounds AI generated. Can you talk with confidence and tell me what you are good at?

Give me an example and a price tag like then I will buy eventually.
