Hi I was walking in the middle of crosswalk in Ny queens and was hit by car that sped off so i was not able to get insurance of the driver . I submitted a police report and went to the hospital and got some x ray scans and was wondering if the my insurance should cover it if police can’t get license plate number . I have 1199 and went to a hospital that accepts it

Most personal health insurance should cover it, subject to usual deductible and/or copayment.
If the other party is identified,etc, your insurance could ask that person’s insurance to reimburse them and your company might even recover your own out-of-pocket. The technical term for this one is subrogation.
But. I wouldn’t hold my breath on this one.
