I have been working on my business from the last 3 years, and have learned a lot about marketing, sales, product development and business. I have made some good progress.

The knowledge and skills I am gaining is really priceless, but i regularly get judged by friends, family and relatives beacuse I am not worling a 9 to 5. People working in 9 to 5 earning a stable income, traveling and buying cars expensive clothes get admired by my family and I get compared to them quite often and shamed.

A lot of my relatives also quitely look down upon me, for not being employed. I can see it in their eyes. And its quite honestly infuriating, and my temper has been rising from all these attacks from family, constant comparisons and shaming me.

I have told my family about my entrprenurship pursuit and they dismiss it saying I am wasting my time. I haven't disclosed it to relatives and friends though, I have kept it vague – working on a personal project.
But still my anger and frustration about people around me will lead me to berate someone one of these days.

Has someone been in a similar situation, is there a more tactfull way to handle this?

3 years is not a short time bro. I believe you can rent a single room now to improve your focus. Otherwise distractions will keep coming in.

How far you from the target? Dont hate everybody else around you, just keep going.

I get that all the time. These people know they could never do what you’re attempting to do so it’s easier to calm you crazy and belittle you than admit they don’t have the balls to take risks. Many things are impossible until they are done. Keep going, keep trying new things. Eventually you’ll crack the code. The only difference between you and someone who’s made it in business is the work they put in and knowledge they acquired along the way. Watch, as soon as you make it these same people will be telling you that they knew you could do it haha
