I’m currently trying to get my real estate license and take the exam in a few weeks. I get out late next year but want to practice real estate. Am I allowed to do it while I’m still in or will I need to wait until I get out?

You need permission from your command to work a second job.
Besides that, it’s not very practical. Clients that hire you will want you to be available to sell their house (or buy one) at flexible hours during the day. Saying you can only do that in the evenings and weekends isn’t great for a realtor’s reputation, which is the only thing that matters in that world.
