As the title says, I got out of the Army in 2021. This year I looked at my TSP account for the first time ever. I was contributing 5% in ROTH and Traditional since as early as possible when I joined in 2017.

Earlier today, I looked at some old LES forms and noticed the two "AGCY-MATCH" blocks have had big fat zeros for the last four years. Through some googling I found other posts where people claimed they got back payed direct deposits into their TSP accounts after hashing it out with finance. However I feel pretty lost as I am no longer in the Army.

What is my correct course of action with this situation?

My current plan is to call DFAS and maybe my unit's S1 but if anyone has a more streamlined and definitive answer that would be fantastic.

I appreciate any advice given. Sorry if I don't reply quickly, my classes have me pretty tied up.

TSP contributions were never matched. ETS was 3 years ago.

    1. If you joined in 2017, your default retirement plan was the Legacy plan, which does not include matching.

Did you switch with the Blended Retirement System in 2018?
