Georgia if that matters…
I was told by an Allstate agent (after spending an hour on the phone drawing up the policies) that they couldn't insure me due to my record. I guess they waited until the very end of the conversation to check my MVR. He said to call back in October 2024 and he could help me then…
The ticket he was concerned about, and the only ticket that shows on my 7 year MVR is an "improper turn" from March 2022. Disposition date was May 2022.
If the agent gave me accurate information, it seems they are only looking back about 2.5 years… But everything I read is 3-5 years….
Any chance I may be able to switch in October?
How far back is Allstate looking at my driving record?
