I had a contractor steal money from me and cause damage to my home. We did not obtain their insurance before they started, and now I need their insurance information for a pending lawsuit.
I have exhausted options on my end. If anyone knows a way to search any type of internal, non-public databases, I would be happy to compensate financially in order to get this information.
Any way to locate a company’s insurance policy?

In my state, when I look up licensed contractors on the state database, their contractors’ workman’s comp and liability insurance providers are often listed.
