Hate to say this but if you’re the type of entrepreneur who tells people to escape the matrix or looking down on regular jobs, you aren’t a real man i don’t care how much money you make.

As long as it’s clean money ( no OF, or selling drugs ) then there shouldn’t be an issue.

Where I live i know alot of carpenters, construction workers, painters, warehouse workers, etc. Are they rich? No, but they’re happy. Everyone does what they want with their lives & no one should interfere in the life of others.

You become a man the day you learn to respect everybody regardless of their profession

Sad that something that should be a very obvious fact like this needs to be said. Did you have the misfortune to have an ahole cross your path?

    2. I’m gonna take this approach moving forward. I do find myself encouraging friends that I can see. Would be good doing their own thing. But I should just care about their happiness. Great post.

No one should ever look down on someone else who is performing honest work. Not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur like I’ve been. But I’m not cut out to be a plumber or electrician. No one skill set is objectively better than another.

True to a point….but if your friend is say a carpenter and you know how he can definitely make $1m a year as a carpenter rather than the $150k he is currently making, should you keep quiet?

While respecting all professions is crucial, we shouldn’t overlook the value of encouraging growth. The key is balancing respect for current choices with gentle support for those who might benefit from change. True maturity lies in recognizing both contentment and untapped potential in others, without judgment.
