Does anyone have experience with BofA "associate cards"? Years ago I worked for BofA and applied for my very first credit card through what I believe was an employee benefit program. I still have the card and the APR is great at prime plus 1. It even has 0 fee balance transfers. I have some credit card balances that I want to balance transfer over, however it's more than the current limit of the BofA card. I'm considering asking for a limit increase as I know I'll be approved, but my concern is that during the process they may discover that I'm no longer an employee and I may lose the rate. In reviewing the credit card statement and agreements I don't see anything indicating this is an employee card, it's just listed as a BofA platinum plus visa. I'm just not sure I want to take the risk of increasing my limit and potentially losing that sweet prime plus 1 rate. Any thoughts on this?
