Rational thinking. Not all of those Bitcoin will be put on sale. A reasonable quess would be about 40% of those coins will be sold, the rest held on to for the long term.
And then if one has many Bitcoin, it is more prudent to sell small portions at a time, rather than all once so as to not depress the price.

Even if we assume all of this bitcoin is going to be sold, it won't be a big deal. That huge multi-billion dollar bitcoin buyer on July 8th barely moved the market. If you look up a bitcoin REAL volume chart, apparently we had 4 billion dollars in volume just yesterday.
Selling mine now and rebuying on the cheap. Wooo wooo.

I remember the Mt Gox problem when it happened…what a mess!! I for one will be glad when this overhang …after years… is gone. IMO, when it's gone, that's a BIG positive catalyst for the BTC market.
If you really wanted to sell you could have opened a short position…So i don't think it will have an enormous effect…

I see that you read my comment about the Gox coins on your video yesterday when you said you are buying more bitcoin.. 😅
You even made the nothing burger reference from the comments.. give us a shoutout next time lol.. But I am glad you're making people aware! They sold the top in the last cycle.. and there are a few thousand more coins that will be getting sold off outside of the Gox stuff.
Careful buying the dip. The lower prices get, the more the % losses make a dent.. 20k to 10k is a 50% loss.. 10k to 5k is a 50% loss.. on the contrary, if you get in and hold at the lower prices, the gains are even more explosive… but alts outperform bitcoin so it's like ehhh, do you really want to hold Bitcoin or do you want to make real life changing gains with more scalable, efficient L1s, not naming any names….?
Luckily, I never traded on MTGOX back in the day, i used other methods to trade 😛 Unfortunately, I lost everything over the years from bad investments and theft, such as QuadrigaCX…
It’s my understanding that they only get back their original investment.

Crypto is beginning to be a dump. Everyday I see ridiculous new coins created that's useless. Everybody and their mother wants to create a coin so they can get a piece of a worthless pie. I thought BTC was suppose to be a hedge against inflation. Definitely not the case. I'm so over it
