The blocked Suez Canal is affecting plans for a number of Singapore manufacturers, who said their goods may arrive two to three months later than usual. Many are looking at other routes, which could be three times more costly.

      Vital for importers to be proactive to diversify procurement sources/ processes to counter similar problems in future !

      ⚠️ Seems like deliberate sabotage to block Suez Canal to extort sky high prices for simple consumer goods ! Day light robbery !

    2. China has vision with the BRI land project πŸ‘πŸ‘It is a faster transport route with high speed rail btw east & west & vice versa. With another alternative land transport route, Suez canal blockage will not happen again.πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

    3. It's hard to imagine that 1 single vessel could cause so much trouble for everyone in the region. Hopefully they could remove it soon.
