가상화폐 거래소 유빗, 연이은 해킹에 따른 손실로 파산
A cryptocurrency exchange here in South Korea has been forced to shut down after falling victim to a suspected hacking attack.
YouBit says hackers stole 17 percent of its cryptocurrency,… in an attack that happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
YouBit did not reveal the value of the stolen cryptocurrency.
Youbit apologized for the shutdown, saying it would allow its customers to withdraw about 75 percent of their balance.
Police say they will investigate whether North Korea was behind it… once the case is confirmed as an actual attack.
YouBit, formerly known as “Yapizon,” was reportedly hit by a hack in April, when hackers made off with more than five million U.S. dollars worth of cryptocurrency.
