Vet Tix. ***Virtually*** free tickets. You have to pay a processing fee of $16 regardless of the show or how many tickets you request. 1 ticket to local comedy show, $16. 6 tickets to major league baseball, $16.

Then there’s lotteries for big events like college bowl games, big name acts, etc. Lots sporting tickets near college towns.

Lots of different kinds of events. I’ve seen winery and distillery tours, festival passes, car shows, air shows, rodeos and many more.

I only suggest this if you are RESPONSIBLE with money and have the credit. But Amex will waive all fees for their credit cards and you receive all the benefits of said card. Chase will also waive them. I have the Amex plat, Amex Delta Reserve, and Chase Sapphire Reserve. Between those three cards I’m saving just about $2k a year in annual fees.

When shopping or dining you can always ask for a discount, but don’t expect it. They have no obligation to give you one, but it’s nice when they do. Tip based on pre discount total of a check when dining out, and I’ll usually throw a few more on there, especially if it’s a big discount.
