Hit a deer last night and my insurance is not open until Monday. Will they cover any of the damage according to this? It was a pretty bad hit here is what my coverage says

      On the face of it, they will cover up to 30K minus the 1K deductible, so I hope your car is worth less than that!  Those limits are really low and you should look into getting an increase 

    2. Damage to your vehicle from hitting an animal falls under your comprehensive coverage.

      It appears that you have a $1000 deductible for this. You will be responsible for the first $1000 worth of damage and your insurance company will pay for the rest.

      I don’t see mention of rental car reimbursement, so you may be out of pocket for the cost of a rental while your car is being repaired.
