I do consulting on the side of my regular job in the medicolegal realm and to a lesser degree in the AI/Healthcare realm. Through this side business, I have earned a decent amount of income, though not large by any standard I've seen here, but for the work put in, the income has been nice. I have been wanting to branch out a little bit, and have considered using these profits to enter another venture, since to me, the money cannot be used yet.

What kinds of things might I get into (primarily online focused?) with 4 to low 5 figure startup investment?

Unfortunately, I feel my skills are somewhat limited – I have writing and editing skills. I do not have any coding skills or anything like that, but in the appropriate environment, I feel I could learn them if I needed to.

Alternatively, how can I leverage my existing relationships to really grow these services I provide into something more robust? In medicine, they dont really teach us any of this.

I have access to about 10K/semester tuition benefit at a major academic institution. I have considered using this benefit to begin a slow paced MBA at my institution but am not sure it would truly be of benefit in my main career or this area of branching out.

    Thanks for your insight everyone.
